Welcome to Minnefy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain how you may use the Minnefy website, app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using Minnefy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use Minnefy and Age Limits

You must be at least 13 years old to use Minnefy. Users under 13 are not allowed to use the Service under any circumstances.

2. Your Responsibility When Using Minnefy

Minnefy is a tool that helps you study. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for any results. In particular, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for all activity that happens on your account.
  • You are responsible for any content you upload, create, or share (including that it is lawful and that you have the right to use it).
  • You are solely responsible for complying with all laws and rules that apply to you when you use Minnefy.
  • You are responsible for checking that any information you rely on is correct and appropriate for your situation, especially for exams, driving theory, professional decisions, or safety-critical topics.

Minnefy does not guarantee any grades, exam passes, driving licences, or other specific outcomes.

3. AI-Generated Content

Minnefy uses artificial intelligence ("AI") to help generate study cards and other learning content. AI can be helpful, but it can also make mistakes.

By using AI features, you understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
  • AI content is for support and inspiration only, not expert or official advice.
  • You must always double-check important information using reliable sources (for example, official traffic rules, course material, or trusted references).
  • You are responsible for decisions you make, and for any consequences, based on AI-generated content.

4. Content and Acceptable Use

You keep ownership of the content you create or upload to Minnefy. To run the Service, you give Minnefy a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the Service.

You agree not to use Minnefy to:

  • Break the law or help others break the law.
  • Upload or share illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, or sexually explicit content.
  • Upload or share content that violates copyright or other rights of others.
  • Cheat on exams, assignments, or tests (for example, by sharing active test questions or answer keys).
  • Try to damage, overload, or bypass the Service or its security.

We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the Service or remove content that appears to break these Terms.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Minnefy and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, such as lost data, lost profits, or lost opportunities.

Minnefy does not promise that AI-generated or user-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific purpose. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for checking information before you rely on it.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including your mandatory rights under Swedish or EU consumer law.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish law. By using Minnefy, you agree that we may process your personal data in line with that policy.

7. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and your use of Minnefy are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will notify you (for example by email or by a notice in the app). If you continue to use Minnefy after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the new Terms.
